this might be a concern for you if you’re on payg or a contract with limited data. i use the app quite a lot – around 40 hours/week at the moment – considering it’s not even my main job! so far this month the app used 52.03mb in 22 days, which works out at around 0.6mb per hour worked. i think that’s pretty good really, considering it constantly relays your location and other details back to uber eats, and shouldn’t be an issue for anyone with at least 1gb per month – unless you already reach your limit every month! on most phones you can set a warning when you’ve used a certain amount of data in the month, or even set it to stop using data beyond your limit. i wouldn’t recommend that though as it may mean you’re cut off during a shift and unable to work. that would cost you a lot more than going a few mb over your limit! posted on february 19, 2018 april 10, 2018 do uber eats do a trial shift?
